1. Acceptance of these terms

By using this website or placing an order with 12V Overland & Accessories, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or place an order. All communication and orders are handled directly with the owner via WhatsApp.

2. Our products & services

• We supply overlanding and 4x4 gear, both new and trail-tested second-hand, as well as professional 12V installations, dual battery & Victron systems, trailer wiring, suspension fits and custom drawer builds.
• All items are sold subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities or refuse an order.
• Second-hand gear is honestly graded and described as accurately as possible, but may show signs of trail use.
• Installation services are performed by arrangement and quoted based on your vehicle and requirements.

3. Pricing & payment

• All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.
• We aim to keep pricing more affordable than the big retailers; prices may change without notice.
• Online payments are processed securely by PayFast. We do not store your card or banking details.
• An order is only confirmed once payment has been received and verified (or, for WhatsApp orders, once agreed with the owner).

4. Orders & fulfilment

• Orders are placed via the website checkout or directly through WhatsApp.
• Stock items are dispatched, or fitment arranged, as soon as practicable after confirmation.
• Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on your location and the courier.
• Custom builds and installations are scheduled by mutual agreement with the owner.

5. Shipping & collection

Shipping is quoted after your order is placed and depends on the size, weight and destination of your gear. Smaller items are couriered nationwide; larger or bulky items may be sent via a transport service. Collection or fitment can also be arranged by appointment where applicable.

6. Returns & refunds

Returns are governed by our separate Returns & Refunds Policy. Please read it for the conditions that apply to new and second-hand goods.

7. Warranties

• New products carry the manufacturer's warranty where one applies.
• Second-hand gear is sold as described, with any known wear disclosed; unless otherwise stated, it is sold without a formal warranty.
• Installation workmanship is guaranteed against defects in our own work for a reasonable period — contact me on WhatsApp if an issue arises.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by South African law, 12V Overland is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of our products or services. Overlanding, 4x4 and electrical modifications carry inherent risks; it is your responsibility to ensure gear is fitted and used correctly and is suitable for your vehicle.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including the 12V Overland name, logo, text, images and build gallery — is owned by or licensed to 12V Overland and may not be copied or reused without permission.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The current version is the one published on this page, identified by the "last updated" date.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be dealt with under South African law.
